How it works
A clear way forward.
Four steps, with an agreed scope at each point so you know what happens next and what it involves.
- 1
Tell us what you need
Share your project, the property and when you need the plans.
A short introductory conversation to understand your goals, site and readiness. There’s no charge for this first call.
- 2
Agree scope, fee and timing
Receive a proposal with defined stages, deliverables, fees and availability. A paid starting review can resolve questions where needed.
If you’re ready, you’ll receive a design proposal setting out the stages, deliverables and fees. Where questions need investigating first, a paid Project Starting Review can be agreed, with its deliverables and fee set before work begins.
- 3
Design and prepare the plans
Develop the design around your brief and site, then prepare the working drawings.
The concept stage develops your brief into a design — plans and elevations, with visualisation where agreed — reviewed together before moving on.
- 4
Complete the consent documentation
Finish the agreed documentation and specifications, coordinating consultants and council questions within the engagement scope.
The documentation stage prepares the drawings agreed for your project and coordinates consultant and consent work within the engagement scope.
Fees
Every project receives a proposal explaining the work, design stages and fees. There’s no one-size price list, because every home and site is different.
Consultants and council
Surveyors, engineers, specialist reports and council charges are identified separately where applicable. We coordinate consultant inputs where included in the proposal.
Changes and variations
If the scope changes, we discuss it with you before additional work proceeds, so there are no surprises.
Information that helps
Plans, title or survey information, photos and a few notes on your priorities all help. Bring what you have.
Get your plans moving.
Tell us about your project and when you need the plans. We’ll confirm the scope, fees and next steps.
